Warm & White Quilting Batting

from $16.00

The Warm Company’s second highest selling quilting batting is Warm & White being sold for 30 years. What you love about Warm & Natural you get with Warm & White but with whitened cotton fibers. These fibers undergo a hydrogen peroxide bath that removes all the impurities and natural color. This process is safe and leaves the fibers soft and hypoallergenic. They use the same needle-punched tradition that has made Warm & Natural a highly sought after batting by crafters and quilters alike. Warm & White is best used with bright white, pastel, and tone-on-tone fabrics as it blends and remains hidden. If you’re a crafter and need a bright white batting or a quilter who doesn’t want the batting to show in the background fabric, Warm & White is it.

Even though Warm & Natural and Warm & White weigh 4 oz. per square yard, Warm & White might feel a bit thinner. This is because of the cleaning process. There is little to no measurable shrinkage in a cold or warm water wash after quilting. If you’re looking for your finished quilt to have the same look as when it was first made, without puckering around the quilting, Warm & White is what you want to use.

Additional characteristics:

  • Loft: Low

  • Will not separate, bunch, migrate or beard and contains no resins or glues

  • Quilt or tie up to 10in

  • Made of a cotton blend of 87.5% cotton and 12.5% polypropylene

  • Needle Punched; non-fusible; no scrim

  • Washing/drying instructions: Machine wash after Quilting (per manufacturer)
